Dr. Kandhappan PillaiOwner & General Dentist
Dr. Pillai graduated as a dentist in 1998 from Bangalore University in India, then completed his specialty training in Oral Surgery in India from Mumbai University in 2004 . He successfully challenged the NDEB equivalency process and went on to acquire the general dentist license in British Columbia. He’s also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology in Chicago, USA.
He has been placing Dental Implants since 2001, and thus, brings vast experience in, not just oral implantology and surgical procedures associated with it, but also his keenness to learn keeps him at the cutting edge of latest developments in his professional sphere. As much as he is an avid student, he’s a passionate teacher. He’s the chief mentor for ACJ in Dent-Art Training Academy, BC.
Dr. Mario AfraOwner & General Dentist
Dr. Mario Afra, a top graduate with an Honours Degree in General Dentistry, provides comprehensive patient-centered dental care. With a commitment to excellence, he received a National Excellency Award in Dentistry (Mexico) and continues to deliver the highest service standards.
At our clinic, Dr. Mario emphasizes conservative and preventive dentistry, with a focus on gum health and comprehensive treatments to promote long-term oral health. Known for his compassionate approach, gentle hands and attentive nature, he creates a comfortable and pleasant experience for every patient, while delivering personalized, high-quality care.
Dr. Warren EnnisDentist – Associate
Dr. Warren Ennis graduated from the UBC Faculty of Dentistry in 1982. One year later he bought a practice in White Rock and since the time he, his wife and four kids have called White Rock / South Surrey home and have been an integral part of the community. He is grateful to have a career that he continues to love and has experienced long professional and personal relationships with many of our patients and amazing staff.
Dr. Gianni PisanuDentist
I was born in Sassari, Italy and immigrated to Vancouver in 1971. Shortly afterwards, my family moved to Sechelt, BC where I completed my elementary and high school education. I entered UBC on a full tuition scholarship and completed a Bachelor of Science degree (Pharmacology and Therapeutics) followed by a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. I am a part-time faculty member at UBC where I am a clinical instructor at the dental school. I have always been a big advocate of advancing my skills with world class continuing education. As such, I was mentored for a decade by a dental prosthodontic specialist and have completed Kois Center continuum courses. In addition, I have taken extensive cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge, root canal, orthodontic , Invisalign, denture and implant courses and I especially enjoy performing that work.
AngieRegistered Dental Hygienist
Angie completed the Dental Hygiene program at Vancouver Community College in 1996, graduating with the Top Clinical Student Award. She completed a further designation in Residential Care through the University of Washington in 2007. Angie values providing gentle, individualized and thorough care for her clients. Before becoming a dental hygienist, Angie worked locally as a lifeguard and swim instructor. As a fifth generation resident in the White Rock/South Surrey area, Angie loves our local sense of community, connection and history.

Lesley has been a proud member of our dental team for the past 30 years. Lesley’s warm smile and kind disposition are some of the many reasons our patients continue to return to our office. She has made White Rock her home since moving from Ontario in 1983. Some of her many interests include arts, camping, curling and family time.
